2012 right around the corner. Literally...9 hours away as I type this. World supposedly ending next December (again...this time it's not Harold Camping, it's the Mayan calendar).
I use Facebook way more than this blog now. I honestly don't know why I still have it...I let the custom domain name expire. Who knows...I have another blog I very, VERY rarely update, too.
I used to blog politics extensively here. I have actually scaled that back even on Facebook, as I find arguing with those who refuse to believe solidly verifiable facts to just be tiring. I recently had a Facebook discussion with someone who is STILL on the "birther" kick, despite tons of real evidence proving him wrong. These opinions get so tightly held, the become more solid than fact in the minds of the blind. I really just don't care to try and argue the point anymore. If you want to hold on to beliefs that have been proven...PROVEN...false, go right ahead. No amount of blogging on my part is going to change your mind.
So...2012 will be the last full year I write this blog. In August 2013, I'll likely shut it down. That will make 10 years, and even though I post about 1-2 times a month now, I still do get some use here, so I'll keep it around that long.
For me, 2012 hopefully will be a good year. I'm getting expenses down, saving, and I'm in a better place with my job. So...we'll see.
