Obama thus far gets high marks for transition, and Americans are optimistic

I think the following quote sums up the Bush Disaster Administration, and gives some insight as to why Obama is so popular:

"An Obama job approval rating of 79 percent -- that's the sort of rating you see when the public rallies around a leader after a national disaster," said Bill Schneider, CNN's senior political analyst. "To many Americans, the Bush administration was a national disaster."

So true...I'm hoping the Obama Administration will be a ray of light in a very dark time, and a huge reversal of a very damaging Republican administration.
