Where the candidates stand on economic issues

Great multi-section piece on Obama and McCain's economic plans. In short...McCain's reads a lot like Bush's, keep tax breaks on the rich in place, refuse to raise the minimum wage, and keep doing things like Bush has done the past 8 years. Obama's plan won't sit well with the rich (if you make a taxable income above $250,000 you will revert to pre-Bush tax rates), but the vast majority of Americans (over 80%, and over 95% with children) will see significant tax reductions. Under McCain...tax health benefits. Under Obama...make employers provide health care or pay in to a national system to cover those who don't have employer coverage.

So it's clear...economically if you want more of the same then vote Bush-Cheney McCain-Palin. If you want to start improving the American economy, vote Obama-Biden.
