...but there's still a lot of damage and a lot of help needed. FEMA's response this time is much better, and the repairs/modifications to the levees have helped, but it's still no picnic in New Orleans and the rest of the Gulf Coast.
The GOP Convention has been asking people to make donations to relief agencies, and Sen. Barack Obama is urging his massive network of donors to give money to relief agencies as well.
The part that really bothers me...honestly, this is going to make an already shaky economy even shakier.
But for now let's all hope that the folks in the Gulf Coast region weather this without injury.
