No Obama-Clinton/Clinton-Obama?

Roland Martin doesn't think so...

Democrats across the country are abuzz over the possibility of the "dream ticket" featuring Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama running for the White House in November.

In the words of one of "The Sopranos" characters, "Fuggetaboutit!"

He cites the bad blood between their campaigns, Clinton not wanting to be second banana, and the specter of being second fiddle to Bill Clinton in a Hillary administration.

Makes sense to me...Clinton and Obama are both so big in the party (with Obama having such massive appeal for one so young and so fresh on the national stage) that I think it would be tough to see either settling for VP.

Personally, I'm supportive of Obama for change...much as I may have admired the Clinton presidency, I really think we need new, fresh direction. And that doesn't mean "Republican", as that direction is in many ways "Bush, Rev. 2".
