Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is about to appear in a new video, according to a banner ad posted by al Qaeda's media production company, As Sahab.
"Soon, God willing, video message by the Lion Sheik Osama bin laden, may God protect him," the ad says in Arabic script translated by CNN's senior editor for Arab affairs Octavia Nasr.
The terrorist watch group IntelCenter said it expected the video to be released within 72 hours.
Just in case the GOP propaganda ads saturating the airwaves (the ones that come right out and FURTHER PROMOTE THE LIE THAT IRAQ WAS PART OF 9/11 AND THAT WE ARE FIGHTING FOR "OUR FREEDOM" IN IRAQ) had anyone bamboozled, Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda group (based in AFGHANISTAN WITH THE BLESSINGS OF THE TALIBAN, NOT IN IRAQ) were the ones who pulled off 9/11.
And our "leadership" (if you can call Bush a "leader") seems to have forgotten about him. Only Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) has proposed actually going after bin Laden (in Pakistan, and it got him blasted by the right and left alike).
Remember, as the 6th anniversary of 9/11 comes up, that Osama bin Laden was responsible for 9/11, not Saddam Hussein. And ask yourself why we have allowed this guy to still be around releasing videos while we are mired down in
