No big surprise, John Roberts confirmed as Chief Justice

In a move that stuns no one, John Roberts was confirmed today as the new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

The vote was 78-22. All Republicans (of course), 22 Democrats and the Senate's lone Independent voted in favor.
